🧬 Essential amino acids – important building blocks of protein
EAA (Essential Amino Acids) are nine amino acids that the body cannot produce itself and therefore must be obtained through diet or supplements as a natural part of a varied diet. EAA are important building blocks of protein and are found in foods such as meat, fish, eggs and some vegetable proteins.
We call our product Super EAA because it brings together all nine essential amino acids in one convenient formula. It gives you all nine essential amino acids in a pre-mixed mix, with the same amino acids found in many different protein sources in the diet. Our Super EAA combines EAA with BCAAs in a balanced 2:1:1 ratio, plus extra glycine and alanine – completely sugar-free, vegan and with a fresh berry taste.
✨ Ako says: "I love using Super EAA during my most intense workouts. For me, the taste is a reward in itself, and I get all nine essential amino acids in a blend I helped develop myself."
EAA vs BCAA – what’s the difference?
EAA (Essential Amino Acids) consists of 9 amino acids that the body needs to obtain from food or supplements, because it cannot produce them itself.
- BCAAs (Branched-Chain Amino Acids) are three of these nine: leucine, isoleucine and valine.
- This means that BCAAs are included in EAA – but EAA gives you all nine essential amino acids that your body needs every day.
